Bezos blue origin taps former pentagon, NASA officials for new advisory board

Founder, chairman, CEO and president of Amazon, Jeff Bezos originated his space company Blue Origin’s space exploration lunar lander rocket called Blue Moon during a display event in Washington. It is said by Blue origin that develops a new advisory board of former pentagon and NASA officials, as billionaire Jeff Bezos Space Company vies for lucrative government deals and readies its first orbital rocket for debut next year. New space projects are very necessary for the development and full growth of country and it helps to ease the process and functioning of the space programs and ease the life. This mission is very much important. It needs a lot of strategic research and the sequence of work should be very organized to place everything in proper manner for a better functioning result. The seven person board will decide strategic counsel on the company’s mission to spontaneously reduce the cost of access to space and the utilization of in space resources, the Kent, Washington based company said in a press release. The cost to start this mission is a very huge agenda because a budget is provided for the same and that should be maintained or else a heavy loss can be faced.

Air force secretary Heather Wilson was one the members involve in this space mission. Former Air force chief scientist Dan Hastings, and former Deputy undersecretary of defence for Intelligence and Security Kari Bingen, who held the second highest ranking civilian intelligence job at the pentagon beginning in 2017 and got a successful response from it. The Pentagon is the headquarters building of the United States Department of Defense and it is very huge in size. As a character of the U.S. military, The Pentagon is also often used as a metonym for the Department of Defense and its leadership.

Blue Origin was founded in 2000 by Bezos, Amazon.com chief executive, has set in motion and successfully landed its suborbital rocket New Shepard a lot of time, and always pick out to complete growth of its much bigger workhorse orbital rocket, New Glenn, by next year and it will be a great success like others. Bezos plans to provide government and private customers low-cost access to space so they can do their research accordingly, though he trails rival billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX. Blue has vied for lucrative government contracts in recent years and is competing with SpaceX and Leidos-owned Dynetics to win a contract to build NASA’s next human lunar landing system to ferry humans to the moon in the next decade. The board also includes former directors of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California and Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama, the management center for NASA’s crewed lunar lander program.

Blue Origin has received $220 million of a $500 million development award from the Air Force in 2018 to help mature New Glenn for military launches, but later lost to SpaceX and Boeing-Lockheed venture United Launch Alliance for a subsequent multi-billion dollar Air Force contract to launch military payloads to space for the next five years.
