Encore Dermatology Inc. announced the launch of their new product IMPOYZ Cream which is specially designed for the patient with serious plaque psoriasis. It is the only cream FDA- approved high potency topical corticosteroid which consist of 0.025% of clobetasol propionate.
As per Bob Moccia, president and CEO of Encore Dermatology, ‘with this launch of IMPOYZ cream, now dermatology providers will get a substitute for the traditional clobetasol which will be very beneficial for them as now they can treat their patient with a lower concentration. Clobetasol propionate traditionally had been only available in one variation/potency since the last three decades.
This new cream has clobetasol propionate which is its active ingredient. Clobetasol propionate is a kind of a corticosteroid which is mainly used to cure skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis and contact dermatitis. They are usually available in the form of cream, shampoo or ointment so that they can be applied on the skin easily. They are used to avoid skin conditions like pimples, redness, skin irritation etc.
IMPOYZ cream consists of clobetasol propionate 0.025% and is very useful as they have the ability to reduce symptoms of the plaque psoriasis. These new creams have the ability to provide better tolerability and safety.
Psoriasis is a skin condition that increases the formation of skin cell and these extra skin cells create red patches which usually causes irritation, redness and pain. This is the reason; it is very difficult to treat these patients as psoriasis somewhere affects their day to day life.
