- In November 2021, GreenVinTM Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), a lower-carbon alternative PVC, has been launched by Westlake Chemical Corporation's Vinnolit subsidiary in Germany. In the building, medical, and automotive industries, the alternative PVC is one of the most extensively used plastics. GreenVinTM PVC follows the release of GreenVinTM caustic soda earlier this year. The product line is expected to grow in the future to include the Company's hydrogen and vinyl chloride products.
