- In November 2024, Toybox Labs launched two new 3D printers designed for home use, the Comet and Alpha Two models. These printers are specifically designed to be durable, reliable, and easy for children and families to use. The Alpha Two, in particular, improves on the previous model with a 25% increase in speed, better connectivity, tool-free calibration, and a sturdy injection-molded frame for long-term use. Both models are available for purchase on Toybox’s website
- In September 2023, Fun In Motion Toys, makers of the popular Shashibo magnetic puzzle cube, introduced a new product called Nockles in partnership with inventor David Silverglate. These engaging tactile toys can be snapped together and pulled apart, offering an infinite variety of shapes, and are designed to entertain users for hours
- In August 2022, Toybox Labs signed licensing deals with Universal and Paramount, leading to the creation of new printable toy ranges. The collaboration with Paramount will focus on characters and environments from the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise, while the Universal partnership will bring Illumination’s Minions to the Toybox platform. Both new collections were slated for release in September 2022
- In September 2022, Toybox Labs struck a deal with Schwartz & Company to create NASA-themed printable products. Under this agreement, Toybox developed designs for printable rockets, logos, and vehicles, with the first batch scheduled to launch in October 2022
- In March 2020, Toybox Labs entered a licensing agreement with Beano Studios, which allowed the company to add characters from the animated series Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed to their 3D-printable collection. This was Toybox's first licensing deal, and it enabled users to print 3D versions of the characters from the show
