Caustic soda is widely used in textiles processing, paper and pulp and soap and detergent industry. It is highly used to process cotton fabric, make dyes and also in laundering and bleaching in textile industry. Caustic soda is also used as an intermediate for different type of organic chemicals to prepare epoxy resins, paints, rayon, ceramics, spandex, explosives and glass and in oxide coating, electroplating, electrolytic extracting and metal cleaning and processing.
