Bio composites from regenerated cellulose fibres are a comparatively new field. To produce composites, regenerated cellulose fibres like viscose and lyocell were reinforced in thermoplastics. Regenerated cellulose fibres are pure cellulose produced from wood pulp through different manufacturing methods and have good reinforcement potential. Furthermore, the main field of regenerated cellulose application in textiles sector, regenerated cellulose fibres can also be used in composite materials. Compared to natural fibres the regenerated cellulose fibres have reproducible and depending properties.
