- In April 2020, Philips announced plans to increase hospital ventilator production to 4,000 units per week by Q3 2020 and introduced the Philips Respironics E30 ventilator, with a production target of 15,000 units per week. The company is collaborating with Flex Ltd. and Jabil to expand capacity and strengthen its supply chain. The E30 ventilator, authorized by the FDA for emergency use, is designed for both non-invasive and invasive treatment of respiratory insufficiency
