- In September 2022, GoodMills launched Vitatex vegan-snack-mix, a premix for plant-based burgers and meatballs, and savoury bakery and snack fillings. The premix was made from wheat proteins and had a juicy bite and realistic meat flavor which could be combined with water and oil, and then shaped for easy use. According to GoodMills, consumers wanted more plant-based, vegan, and vegetarian items, the premix allowed bakers and butchers with snack kiosks, bistros, canteens, and other food service providers to alter their offerings
- In January 2021, Lantmännen Unibake invested in Poland and also expanded the market for its bakery in Nowa Sol. The investment was approx. Euro 40 million to accelerate growth in European markets. That included a new high-speed fast-food line, retail packaging equipment, and the extension of existing building and warehousing capacity. The investment strategy contributed to the growth by creating job opportunities. It also contributed to the creation of a number of new indirect jobs with suppliers and contractors
