- In September 2024, the Great Canadian Farm Tour returns for its fourth season, strategically scheduled in the fall to showcase the diverse aspects of Canadian agriculture during this unique period. From October through December, Agriculture in the Classroom Canada (AITC-C) and its ten provincial affiliates will engage students nationwide, offering hands-on experiences with the harvest season and insights into fall operations within the agricultural and food sectors
- In June 2024, Tourism Prince George launched Farm Tour, a new self-guided experience designed for those passionate about local growers and sustainable food practices. The tour covers 15 locations, including six farms within a one-hour drive from the city, as well as markets, restaurants, and businesses that prioritize sourcing from regional producers
- In August 2023, the Pacific Agritourism Conference was hosted by the Global Agritourism Network Pacific Committee and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, aiming to strengthen agritourism in the Pacific region by incorporating perspectives from indigenous communities
- In April 2023, Assisi Aid Projects Australia launched Jajal Wae Sustainable Agri-Tourism, a short-term initiative in collaboration with Dreamdelion Indonesia. This project is focused on empowering women in rural Indonesia, helping them achieve economic stability and growth through agritourism
- In April 2023, the Global Agritourism Network (GAN) was formed by industry practitioners, experts, and scholars of agritourism. The coalition includes researchers, farmers, agriculture producers, educators, and government bodies dedicated to advancing the agritourism sector
