- In May 2024, CNH Industrial N.V. partnered with Intelsat to provide farmers with reliable internet access through a ruggedized satellite communications (SATCOM) service. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity for CNH equipment operating in remote and challenging locations. Leveraging Intelsat’s expertise in SATCOM, the service will utilize multi-orbit internet access, combining geosynchronous and low-Earth orbit capabilities. Initially launching in Brazil in the second half of 2024—targeting areas with limited high-speed internet access for agriculture—the service will be installed and supported by Case IH and New Holland dealers. The collaboration plans to expand coverage to the U.S., Australia, and other regions, ensuring wider access to reliable satellite internet for farmers worldwide
