- In December 2023, The Health Department of Canada allocated approximately USD 950,000 to the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS) to conduct a detailed scientific review of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The evaluation will analyze current data, literature, and practices while consulting stakeholders to identify barriers and suggest improvements, shaping future policies and interventions
